Cleanup Update


I did some cleanup after jam ratings ended for the Leap Day game jam for which this game was made.

Updates:

  • Level design is slightly touched up, but retains its original spirit.
  • Enemies no longer "explode" when grabbed.
  • Enemies no longer destroy each other.
  • Bug that rarely locked player controls when releasing the throw is fixed.
  • Player can no longer turn around during grab animation (grab is more stable).
  • Grab no longer acts as a soft double-jump, which could previously be used to skip part of the level.
  • Carried objects can no longer be pushed up through ceilings, but instead increase the space consumed by the player character.
  • Added missing visual effects for various actions, including throw and player death.
